Zoo

Zoo is located in the southwestern part of Patan by the Jawalakhel roundabout, It is Nepal's only one zoo. there is fun park and restaurant for family visitors.Children are looking enjoying to playing there. In middle of zoo there is a pound with boating facility. people used to visit zoo for elephant riding also.

Elephants, tigers, beer,  leopards, hyenas, deer, blue bulls, gharials, giant tortoises, langur monkeys and some very noisy hippos are most attractive part of the zoo.  you can enjoy with fishes, rhino, alligator, emu, ostrich, peacock and another animals. many kind of birds are also kept in it.People used to come for dry food picnic in zoo, bird area is mostly used for dry food picnic. The zoo open every Tuesday to Sunday at 10am to 5pm its close every Monday. Plastic bags are strictly prohibited in zoo.
